A lake lies beneath the moonlight. The mountains stand out dark against the star
filled sky. Lights shimmer in the water. A gentle breeze brushes across the skin.
Encounters.
A glance. A conversation that grows closer and quieter. A touch that lingers. A kiss.
The closeness grows more intense, the touches become bolder, the breathing faster.
What begins with lightness becomes desire. Passion, wild and uninhibited.
A summer night in Küssnacht.
Küssnacht, a village in Switzerland, literally translates as “Kissnight”. This place
inspired SANNA PATRICK’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection, dedicated to lovers.
Again, the idea of Plato’s Spherical Human is at the core of the collection. Two people
in search of their other halves. Meeting at night. Maybe they were in a hurry and didn’t
have enough time to dress properly. Maybe the garments started to move as the night
progressed, and these two became lovers, slowly beginning to unite and become
whole.
This story is mirrored in the garments through dropped collars, slipped shoulders
and pants. At the same time, the night sky was interpreted through cloudy shapes and
reflected in the pattern of the print.
The colour palette is kept in dark blues and whites, interrupted by fresh pastel salmon
and mint. Delicate silk fabrics, structured cottons and printed lycra take the wearer to
a place where they can feel divine and loved.
